CHAPLAIN

The hospital chaplains are members of the hospital healing team. Their relationship with the other staff members and employees determine the quality of their ministry for patients and their families. They are skilled in pastoral counseling and dedicate their skills and spiritual witness to the better health of the patients they serve.

Pastoral Services

Without categorization and discrimination, the hospital chaplain equally serves and administers the sacraments to both Pay and Charity patients. The chaplain administers the following:

  • Bedside visitation for confined and ER patients - specially to patients who are lonely, anxious, awaiting diagnostic results, despairing and pre-surgical;
  • Sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick
  • Follow up of Pastoral Care and Counseling
  • Accompany patients to the Medical Social Service and Patient Business Service as moral and spiritual support
