The Flow Cytometry (FCM) Unit of the Immunology Division, Department of Laboratory Medicine perform assays for leukemia phenotyping used for diagnosis and classification, staging and therapeutic monitoring, detection of relapse, transformation, and residual disease. B, T and NK cell quantitative and functional assay. Bone marrow analysis and stem cell enumeration.

Our flow cytometry services are performed by licensed, fully-trained, and highly-skilled medical technologists. All results are double-checked for accuracy, first by a knowledgeable flow cytometry supervisor and then by a qualified hematopathologist. In most cases the turn-around time for flow cytometry profiles is less than 48 hours.
