The Clinical Chemistry Laboratory performs a variety of quantitative analysis of body fluids. It performs blood chemistries and these include the kidney function tests, liver function tests, lipid profile, CK Izoenzymes, electrolytes. Special procedures such as Ammonia, Hemoglobin A1C, Microalbumin, VMA are also being performed in the laboratory. It also provides diagnostic procedures in urine and other body fluids such as CSF, and pleural fluid.

The Clinical Chemistry laboratory utilizes sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology including automated chemistry analyzers which make possible examinations of specimens especially blood even by the hundreds in a short period of time. In essence, the physician can diagnose the condition of his patient earlier thereby administration of early treatment is effected.
