These assays include B and T cell quantitative and functional assays, NBT to screen for phagocytic functional defects, Hemoglobin electrophoresis to screen for clinically important hemoglobin variants, Serum Protein Electrophoresis(SPE ) for screening multiple myeloma & Immuno-Fixation Electrophoresis(IFE) for Identification of monoclonal and oligoclonal immunoglobulin in serum, spinal fluid, urine.
