The hemodialysis unit is one of the vital units of the Institute. Since its opening in 1983, it has never ceased in its pursuit of excellence. Periodic upgrading to keep abreast with progress in the field of medical science and technology is regularly undertaken. Likewise, it has maintained its sight on its obligation to expand the patient populace it is able to serve.

The new Dialysis Center is located in the 2 nd floor of the New Annex 11 building. It is considered as the country’s most modern dialysis facility which is made possible through innovative and creative landmark move of the Institute involving partnership with a private corporation. This is the first kind of project by a government health Institution. The invaluable assistance given by the Built, Operate, and Transfer Center (BOT) under Department of Trade and Industry brought the project to completion with the best and most capable partner, Fresenius medical Care, getting the award.
