Formerly known as Nursing In-Service Training Education and Research, the Institute of Advanced Nursing and Allied Health Professions (IANAHP) was established in November 2001 to expand its programs to a bigger and more diverse clientele. The IANAHP provides basic and continuing education to its in-house staff. Further, it spearheads in the training for dialysis and renal transplantation specialties.

In 2003, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) granted IANAHP the Certificate of TVET Registration for its 6-month Clinical Nursing Assistant Course.

Committed to providing quality and comprehensive training and education, the IANAHP continues to implement innovations to be at par with international standards. This will be met through:

• higher level of educational preparation of its faculty;
• increased emphasis on utilization of research; and
• networking with other hospitals and organizations.
